Completed three tours at Laarbruch between 1974 - 1985 with 58 Sqn Raf Regt, which became 26 Sqn. These years spent in Germany were some of the best times of my life. Will definitely return for a visit later this year. |

Visited the museum about 2 years ago now when on a Supply Sqn Reunion organised by Kev White (thanks Kev). This brought back some great memories from the birth of our 2 children to the monthly beer calls at the back of the Sqn then onwards and upwards to the Mally Club. Hope to be back next year to see all the changes made to the museum if all goes to plan.Brilliant |

Hi, I was stationed at Laarbruch from May 1975 until November 1977, and a member of the “Two Rivers Gliding Club” for all of that time.I really enjoyed my time there despite working in the Safety Equipment Bay and applied to return to Germany as soon as I got back to England, unfortunately never gaining another posting before leaving the service in 1983. It’s nice to know that our presence in Germany has not been forgotten and the Museum should help to keep those memories going. I look forward to visiting if I’m in the area. |

5 of us, 3 from the UK, 1 fromCanada and myself from Holland, celebrated our 50th. Anniversary last year, of being posted to RAF Laarbruch , way back in 1959. We all served in Air Traffic Control. We went to the RAF Museum in September 2009 and we were treated to Coffee, Tea and Cakes and had our photos taken. Our thanks to all of the staff for their hospitality , they have done a grand job in setting up and maintaining the R.A.F. Museum. |

I served from 1968 to Nov 1971 as Sergeant Engine Fitter with 3(F) Squadron when we had B(I)8 Canberras at Laarbruch. 1971 was the time when the Canberras disbanded and gave way to the Harrier.Laarbruch was great place to work. All the time I was there my family and I lived at Pfalzdorf married quarters just north of Goch with local people who were wonderful and always very friendly. Good days remembered with great affection. |
