Served with II(AC) from 76-79, best tour I had in 28 years service! Got married, had a daughter and generally had a ball. Many happy memories of Laarbruch and the area, well done in Museum effort, will visiit shortly.

I was stationed as a SAC at Laarbruch, XV sqn from '84 - '85. Was sad to leave and had a great time while there and made life long friendships.

Hope the Museum is a huge success and I hope to visit and pen my name to the 'real' visitors book.

Hi, I was a PTI at Laarbruch '81-'84 and I am one of 3 members of the same family that served at Laarbruch as PTIs. That has to be unique in itself.
Well done with the Museum, I will make the effort to visit soon.

My Dad, Cpl Jim Forrest, who died in Nov 2008, was stationed at Laarbruch from 1966-69. As a child, my memories almost map onto those of Nigel Carrington - those 'vast' woods, the pine cone missiles, the films at the Astra, and Dr Goodall in 'the Mikado'. But best of all - the Canberras flying over. Canberra was also my house at school for 2 years before going to Windsor GS Hamm. I loved it and am only surprised that it now looks so small. Finding this site by chance has been a real blast from the past.
