I served at Rhein Middle School from 1974 to 1985, swimming and playing Water Polo for the base team and attending St Andrew's and St Peter's Church. I have a mass of happy memories.

Seved at Laarbruch 1963 to 1966.The best posting I ever had.Station Armoury and Unclean Sixteen,how I miss it.Dont forget 420 MU,21 Signals and the American troops.

as one of the ex station copmmanders i am delightrd to see qwhat you have been doing after my wife died I married ILLSE A WORK COLLEAGUE FROM PAPEN BURG BUT i have had a stroke so it is unlikely that we will be able to get to laarbruch down the B700 WHEN WE VISIT HER FAMILY IN PAPENBURG OR LEER REGARDS TO ALL MY WEEZE AND GOCH FRIENDS,jOHN Price. |

Was at Laarbruch with ny ex husband 1986-it closing down I worked in the Rafp HQ and I really enjoyed my time there having my younger daughter at Wegberg hospital in 97.Met some life long friends there. |

Hello All,I served at Laughing Laarbruch Aug 75-Nov 77 and again Nov 78 until Oct 80. I had a great time and made some excellent longtime friends both on the Police Sqn and 16Sqn. Excellent site and please keep up the good work. Cheers, Mel/Taff Jones |

Nice to see my first overseas posting again. I served at Laarbruch on 16 LAA Regiment Wing /20 LAA Sqdn in 1956 and 1957.  My time at Laarbruch was
1981 - 84 with Ground Radio before my posting to
Waddington. Great bunch of guys and proud to have
been part of that particular Tac-Eval when we
achieved the highest score of any RAF Germany
Station!! Great memories of the Golf Club and my
'hole in one'! (Cost me 43Dm) I
revisited when closed down and it was REALLY weird
driving thro' the main gate canopy without
having a rifle poked up my nose! Great station
.... great memories.

I was at Laarbruch from 1994-1998 as the wife of a RAF Regt Sgt on 26 Sqn RAF Regt. I loved my time there and made some friends who have proven to be life long friends. My daughter was also born at Krankenhaus Viersen. Thank you for the memories.
