Dear Anita: We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our "Treasures of Sicily" tour with you. The highlight was the visit to Erice but the entire tour gave us a wonderful glimpse of your beautiful Sicily...we look forward to coming back!

Dear Anita, on behalf of the participants to the Trip to Sicily I want to thank you so much for helping us discover Palermo and Monreale. Your scholarly knowledge (spacing from history, architecture, religion) and your clear explanation were so helpful in understanding the wonderful places we visited.
As a tour leader I loved your site, full of useful information which denotes an organised mind, and your enthusiasm was really infectious!
I can’t wait to return to Palermo and enjoy again your warm presence.

We just want to let you know that those of us on the September tour genuinely appreciated many of the perspectives that you shared
with us at Cappella Palatina and Monreale.

So often we can look at colorful frescos and murals as "pretty
pictures" in churches, without being fully aware of some of the
symbolism or narratives being expressed because we are not familiar
with the Old or New Testament. Moreover, we often overlook the
references to earlier kingdoms and civilizations that appear among
the Christian images.

Thanks again for taking the time to draw our attention to even the
smallest details.

We fortunate to have Dr. Anita lead our brief tour of Palermo. Anita is an accomplished historian and has a thorough and educated knowledge of Palermo and it's current and past history. We very much enjoyed our interesting Nd pleasant tour with her and would recommend her to any future travelers. Regards. Jack and June . Cape Town

We were very fortunate to have Anita as our tour guide in Sicily. Our family was a multilingual group in Spanish and English and Anita did an excellent job coping with the multiple languages. She is very knowledgable, charismatic and detailed. Her explanations of the different historic sites was superb. Her expertise in the history of the area was almost overwhelming. Anita is uniquely skilled in her ability to share her years of study and stay focused on making the most out of the small amount of time we were able to spend with her. She was the best tour guide we had on our 7 day cruise. She is a great person and one of the best tour guides one can find!

When you travel with a tour guide that enjoys her job it makes the experience much more meaningfull. Anita enjoys her job. She is prepared and warm and friendly. Highly recommended.

Anita was one of the most prepared, punctual, and professional guides we've had the pleasure of hiring. She took the time to learn what we wanted in advance. Knowing of my interest in authentic Sicilian food, she found a fantastic restaurant that we would never been able to find. She also took the time to suggest several others for our time there. Her depth of knowledge in both Palermo and Sicily is impressive. Most importantly, her love for Sicily, Palermo, and it's people is evident and infectious. I highly recommend her.

I was part of two university field trips organised by Anita. This lady is not just a professional tour guide but has actually been doing academic research on Sicilian culture! Her organisation of these week-long, complex tours was immaculate (I know what I am talking about, I am a part-time tour guide myself). Anita has a passion for Sicily and she loves meeting people and sharing her passion with them. We were based in Palermo, and our excursions took us across the different regions of Sicily, from Agrigento in the South-West to Catania in the East. While this was mostly a research trip – we interviewed people about the sweet, but sometimes troublesome life in Sicily – we also took in many of the sightseeing attractions on the West of the island. Anita served as our tour guide, and she did this fantastically. Not just because of her profound knowledge, her wealth of background information and the fascinating myths and stories from the mists of time. But also because we could always sense how Anita loved Sicily and how this had become her home, her passion, her centre of gravity. Dear Anita, thank you for sharing these fantastic moments, and I hope to see you again on this island of ancient myth and generous sunshine!
