Hi Ellen, The football World cup is from 09.06.2006 until 09.07.2006. The games take place in the cities Berlin, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Hannover, Kaiserlautern, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart. Dortmund is 10 km away from the my place, Gelsenkirchen is ca. 40 km away. Cologne is pretty close to Düsseldorf (so better phone Karl). I can't offer any German tickets. They are already sold out (actually sold in a lottery because of the enormous demand). |

Good work Hajoe!My husband Will and I shall be combining the 2006 reunion trip with catching up with friends and family in Sweden. So we'd love to join you for 2-3 days. Sorry - haven't got a clue when the football is on...can someone fill me in? Anyway, I'd prefer late summer or September. I love the memories of catching a ferry and heading off for a picnic on one of the wee islands around Helsinki. Love Ellen x |
