I had the privilege of attending your church yearly from 1996 - 2003. I used to work for the South African Government and we had a Partnership agreement with the Free State of Bavaria which gave me the opportunity to visit Munchun.
I am now an Ordained Deacon and Warden of The Methodist Order of Deacons in South Africa.

I have returned home safely to the United States, and have spent some time reconnecting with my family. I wanted to send a letter of thanks to you and your congregation. It was a blessing to visit at Peace during my stay in Munich over the past three weeks. I find it simply amazing that I could travel so far away from home, and walk into church and instantly feel right at home. That is a wonderful testimony for everyone at Peace Church, you are truly the hands and feet of Jesus. I look forward to visiting again next year, please keep in touch and let me know of any connectional opportunities that our two church's may have.

Pastor Christine, I just posted my last Sunday's sermon on our website and at the end I said I am indebted to you for your insights in your sermon on Gen: 11:1-9. Thanks for your help in working my way through my preparation.
I am a retired US Army chaplain who used to visit the small Methodist Church in Schwabach when I was stationed there 1971-74.
I also worked with the on-site folk from GBGM in the late 80s when they were doing the liaison work with the German Methodist Church. I remember your Bishop attending one of our retreats during those years.
Again, thanks for a great sermon.
PS My great, great grandfather immigrated to the US from Sonderhausen in 1843.
