Hallo Ihr Lieben! Vielen vieln Dank für die tolle Zeit bei Euch! Die Touren waren wirklich ein Erlebnis. Ihr habt es möglich gemacht Land und Leute kennen zu lernen. Auch Eure jamaikanische Küche und der gigantische Ausblick fehlt uns schon jetzt. Es wurde einfach kein Wunsch offen gelassen. Liebe Grüße an Alle und hoffentlich bis bald! (PS: Die Anleitung für den Backofen ist noch in Arbeit :-) Ist also nicht vergessen)

bei euch sehr gut erholt.Das Essen war sehr lecker kann mann nur weiter empfehlen.

I just returned from a wonderful week at
Pedro's Point Villa. It is located near the
small town of Lucea--definately away from the
crowds of Mo Bay or Negril, but only 3/4- 1 hour
if you want to go. I traveled with my husband and
13 year old son. This is our second visit, the
first one was in Jan 2007. This villa is owned by
a German hostess, she lives in part of the villa
and rents out 3 other apartments. While we were
there, we were the only visitors. There are some
local staff-a maid, gardener and a driver/chef.
The apartment is spacious, with one bedroom, a
kitchen, large bathroom, very large living area
and a storage closet. It is clean and bright. The
villa is on a high cliff right on the sea. The
view is spectacular. You can see the fishing boats
in the morning, the sailboats and tankers all day
and cruise ships at night. The gardens are lush,
the infinity pool is lovely and the view... did I
mention the view is spectacular? We did 2 day
trips with the villa staff. One was a unique trip
through the mountains of Jamaica, on rough washed
out roads--making it impassible for the large
tourist buses, but their Toyota 4 wheel drive
managed them fine. We climbed the Mayfield Falls
and swam in the "Blue Hole" both off the
beaten track and not at all crowded but very
beautiful. We also spent a day walking on Negril
beach--it is gorgeous, but very touristy, the
villa is quiet and private. The beach near the
villa is a 10 minute walk, but definitely worth
it. Lovely gentle sloped entrance and white sand.
Several times we had it to ourselves, or shared it
with a family or two of local people--all of whom
were friendly and had no interest in selling us
anything of bothering us in any way. We chose to
make our own breakfast and lunch, and had the
chef-Derrick- cook our dinners. Every day he asked
for our requests and we had some wonderful meals.
The seafood was caught fresh each day, and fresh
fruit/veggies were bought at the market. We tried
custard apples, jackfruit, and soursop juice!! At
all times whether with the villa folks or on our
own we felt perfectly safe. The neighbourhood
(Pedro) was a community of mansions on a hill.
Lots of guard dogs, goats and friendly people.
Here's a few notes if you go: 1. Take cash,
the banks in Lucea aren't used to
traveler's cheques. 2. Take some food if you
plan to cook for yourself. We took peanut butter,
coffee, sugar, teabags, cereal to get us started
for the first day or so.Then we shopped in Lucea.
3. Ask for prices up front so you there are no
unexpected costs. Eg. our ride from the airport
was included but the ride back was extra. 4. Bring
earplugs for sleeping if you are bothered by
treefrogs singing. 5. We had a great time playing
dominoes and watching movies.

Pedrospointvilla-einfach der Urlaubsknüller!Die Sicht vom Meer,was will man mehr. Kein Urlaub in Massen-einfach die Seele baumeln lassen. Dafür sorgen: "KERSTIN" vom Manager zum Super Guide bis Barkeeper einfach in allem perfekt! "DERRICK" der Superman als Fahrer und Koch per excellance Jamaica`s Küche wunderbar, dazu Reggae aus der Freiluftbar. Kurzum man wird verwöhnt von früh bis spät ,wie es kaum besser geht. Wir haben 7 wunderschöne Tage auf Jamaica in
der Pderospointvilla verbracht.Wer Jamaica mit seinen Naturschönheiten und den Einwohnern kennenlernen will ist bei Kerstin goldrichtig. Für unser leibliches Wohl sorgte mit hervorragenden einheimischen Gerichten unser Derrick. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Rosa + Günter |

Liebe Kerstin,vielen, vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit die wir bei Dir verbringen durften! Vielen Dank für das tolle Essen, die netten Planungen für unsere Hochzeit, den super Fahrservice auf Jamaikas Straßen (war immer ein Erlebnis:-)) ... einfach Danke für den tollen Rund-um-Service. Es war ein super schöner Urlaub bei euch und wir wollen, wenns Kleingeld passt, auf jeden fall nächstes Jahr wieder kommen!!!!Das Haus war super und eurer Rund um Paket kann sich echt sehen lassen!!!! Ihr habt uns alle Wünsche erfüllt!! Die Ausflüge waren total klasse und nach zwei Tagen "deutschen Essen" vermissen wir Derricks Kochkünste total!!! Liebe Grüße auch an den Rest im Haus!!!!
